Munzungu Nzeyedio

Munzungu Nzeyedio is an award winning bilingual undergraduate researcher, international civil servant,self-published author and communications consultant completing her Hons. BA in Political Science/PublicAdministration at York University. Coming from a unique multidisciplinary background, her overarchingresearch interests are grounded in examining critical scholarly debates on questions of international law,public diplomacy, global governance, human rights and transnational public-private partnerships in Africaand the Global South. Her wealth of experiences in the academic, corporate, and non profit sectors led to her recent tenure at the United Nations Refugee Agency with acquired advisory expertise in international refugee policy. She is also the author of 'Journey In Academia: Show 'Em How To Make It Through Hysteria', which provides critical insights to students of African descent in learning how to navigate the complexities of the university landscape. Moving forward, Munzungu’s future aspirations reside in exploring graduate studies in the fields of international peace, law, business administration, strategic management, international development and security with a focus on preventive diplomacy/mediation.
